Welcome to IQ Drive. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our mobile application. By using IQ Drive, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

IQ Drive is designed with your privacy in mind. We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide the service:

Location Data: The app uses your device's GPS to determine your position relative to mapped traffic cameras and provide real-time alerts. Location is processed on-device and is not transmitted to our servers.
Vehicle Plate Number (optional): If you use the fine-checking feature, you may enter your vehicle plate number. This is sent to the relevant traffic authority service solely to retrieve your fine status.
Anonymous Usage Analytics (optional): We may collect anonymised, aggregated data such as crash reports and feature usage to improve the app. No personally identifiable information is included.

2. Location Data

IQ Drive requires access to your device's location to function correctly. Location data is used exclusively to:

Alert you when approaching a mapped speed camera or red-light camera.
Display your position on the in-app map.
Calculate your current driving speed for comparison against camera speed limits.

Your location is never stored on our servers and is not shared with third parties.

3. How We Use Your Information

Any information processed by IQ Drive is used solely to:

Deliver real-time camera alerts while you drive.
Allow you to check outstanding traffic fines.
Improve app stability and performance through anonymised crash reports.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to any third party for marketing purposes.

4. Data Sharing

We do not share your personal data with third parties except in the following limited circumstances:

Traffic Authority APIs: When you request fine information, your plate number is forwarded to the relevant Iraqi traffic authority service. Their own privacy policy governs that interaction.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect any data processed by the app. Because most processing occurs on-device, the risk of data exposure through our infrastructure is minimal. You should also take steps to secure your own device.

6. Children's Privacy

IQ Drive is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our app, please contact us so we can remove it.

7. Third-Party Services

The app may use third-party mapping services (such as OpenStreetMap) for displaying map data. These services have their own privacy policies which we encourage you to review. IQ Drive does not control and is not responsible for the privacy practices of these services.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
